Questions and answers
Will it work with my TV?
Yes, if your TV has a built-in digital tuner and an aerial (coax) input, which almost every modern flat-screen TV does. Check your TV’s manual if you’re not sure. Older TVs need a digital converter box, like our VT-063.
How far away can it pick up channels?
It’s rated up to 50 miles from the broadcast tower in good conditions. Walls, hills, tall buildings and distance all reduce that, so a high spot near a window facing the towers works best.
Where should I put it?
It’s super thin, so it goes almost anywhere: stick it on a wall or window, tuck it behind the TV, or lay it flat on a table. Try a few spots and rescan each time to find the one that brings in the most channels.
Do I need the amplifier?
The detachable amplifier helps if you’re further from the towers or getting weak channels. If you’re close to the towers, try it without the amplifier too, because too much signal can sometimes cause drop-outs.
What picture quality will I get?
It supports HD broadcasts at 720p, 1080i and 1080p, depending on what your local stations send.
How do I find the channels?
Plug it into your TV’s aerial input, then run the auto-tune or channel scan from your TV’s settings. Rescan whenever you move the antenna, and every so often, so you pick up any new channels.
